Are your fragrances safe?
Yes. We use pure essential oils as well as fragrance oils in our candles. The oils we use to scent our products are free from carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other potentially hazardous chemicals such as phthalates.
Are your wicks safe?
Yes, we use cotton wicks.
Do you use essential oils?
Yes. We use essential oils and fragrance oils in our products. We take care to source our essential oils from reputable, responsible, suppliers with high quality control standards.
Do your candles contain paraffin?
No. We do not use paraffin wax in any of our candles.
Do your candles contain carcinogens or phthalates?
No. We source our scents from reputable industry suppliers with a clear stated mission to provide clean, safe ingredients. We are committed to crafting products made from clean ingredients that are good for you and your family.
What is the best way to burn my candle?
Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn. The first burn is the most important. Make sure the wax melts and pools to the edge of the container before you extinguish the flame to help ensure the candle burns evenly. Keep candles away from pets, children, and uneven surfaces. Never leave burning candles unsupervised and avoid drafty areas.
How do I make my bar soap last longer?
We recommend that you keep your bar soap dry between uses to increase the life of the bar. You can use a draining soap dish or soap pouch and make sure you keep your soap away from running or standing water.
Are your soaps medicinal or have health benefits?
The FDA prohibits traditional soap companies from making health-related claims about handmade traditional soap products, such as Kudzu Hill makes. Therefore, we do not make any medical claims regarding the positive effects of our products on pre-existing physical or mental health conditions.
The information provided about our products is purely anecdotal, based on feedback from family members and customers. Our descriptions pertain to fragrance notes and the well-documented properties of specific ingredients used.
That said, we use high quality raw materials in all our products and stand behind the quality. We use and love our products and hope you do too.
Wholesale FAQs
What are the Minimum Order Requirements for Wholesale Orders?
Minimum order is $250.
Shipping costs are in addition to the base minimum.
No exceptions unless otherwise agreed to by Kudzu Hill management.
What quantities can I order at Wholesale?
We offer case quantities for our Wholesale Clients.
A “Case” consists of 4 units of one fragrance selection.
For example, a case quantity of Ocean Shores soap is 4 bars; a case quantity of Lavender 8oz candles is 4 tins and a case quantity of At the Pub beard oil would be 4 bottles.
What is the turnaround time once I place a Wholesale order?
Candle orders – lead time of 14 days.
Beard Oil or Balm – lead time of 14 days.
Soap orders – lead time of 14 days. However, due to turn around time inherent in the soap making process, we ask for a minimum of 4 weeks lead time if requesting an order quantity in excess of 2 cases (8 units) per fragrance.
How do I place an order?
Orders must be placed in writing – email is perfect.
No phone orders please.
Once an order is acknowledged, an invoice will be generated, and a shipping date will be given.
Before your first order can be fulfilled, Kudzu Hill must receive, and acknowledge receipt of, your company’s tax identification and/or resale permit number. This is required for all wholesale customers prior to your initial order fulfillment.
How do I pay for my Wholesale order?
All resellers must pay 100% of the total order amount before products are shipped. An invoice will be sent to Reseller upon placement of order. We currently accept business check, ACH bank transfer or credit card. Orders will not be processed until full payment is received.
Do you ship Internationally?
No. Currently, we only ship our products within the United States.
