Quite simply, our products are made for you.

Kudzu Hill makes candles, soap, beard care, and body products in small batches, all by hand in Auburn, Alabama. Behind it are two makers, Kerry and Jeanne, each with their own specialty. Kerry makes the soap, and Jeanne pours the candles. With backgrounds in art and design, we share one standard for everything we create: naturally simple, naturally good.

Our Soaps

Are made the cold process way. Oils, water, lye, and fragrance along with naturally derived colorants are combined and cured for a minimum of 30 days.

No animal products.
No palm oils.
No phthalates.

Our Candles

Are hand-poured using soy wax and safe fragrances.

No phthalates.
No paraffins.
No metal wicks.
No dyes or colorants.

Please Note.

We use coconut oil and coconut milk in our soap and some of our products contain spices like cinnamon and turmeric. Please read product descriptions to see a complete list of ingredients in each product.

Also know that no lye is present in the final, cured bar of Kudzu Hill soap. All true soap is made with lye which, when combined with water and oils, creates soap. When fully cured, as our soaps are, there is no lye remaining in the bar of soap.

Why Kudzu Hill

We named our business Kudzu Hill directly after our family property: the literal land where our brand was born and where we still handcraft our candles and soaps today.

Kudzu is a notoriously stubborn vine that we deal with right here in our own yard, but it’s also an ancient, resilient plant with deep natural roots. While we don’t actually put kudzu in our products, its character completely inspires our approach.

It grounds our “naturally simple, naturally good” philosophy in a real, physical place, allowing us to share an honest, personal connection with you every time you bring our scents into your home.
